Breonna Taylor would have turned 27 on June 5, 2020.

She adored her family. She dedicated her life to saving others. In the middle of this pandemic, she worked as an essential worker, on the frontlines, as an emergency room technician. On March 13, she was murdered in the middle of the night in her home in Louisville, KY by several police officers who broke in without announcing themselves, in plain clothes, looking for the wrong person.

For Breonna's birthday, can you sign this birthday card with Breonna's family's demands to Mayor Greg Fischer?

To Mayor Greg Fischer:

If it weren't for LMPD's terror tactics, Breonna would be alive today. For her 27th birthday, I echo Breonna's family's demands. End the racist police terror that ended her life and targets Louisville's Black and poor communities. Correct this injustice by using your authority over LMPD to do the following:

1. End the use of unjust force by LMPD.
2. Terminate the officers who murdered Breonna and revoke their pensions. Arrest, charge, and convict them for killing Breonna.
3. Make sure LMPD provides all information to local, independent civilian community police accountability council. #CPAC
4. Create policy for a transparent investigation process on law enforcement misconduct. Eliminate no-knock warrants!
