YouTube: Reinstate Ban on 2020 Election Denial Claims

The petition to YouTube:

YouTube: We demand that you reinstate your policy against allowing videos that promote false claims about the 2020 election and extend it through the 2024 presidential election.

Why is this important?

YouTube just announced that it will end its policy banning videos that promote Donald Trump's Big Lie that the 2020 presidential election was stolen and other false claims about election fraud.

These lies led directly to the deadly January 6 insurrection and attacks, threats on Black women poll workers in Georgia, and other acts of violence. And since Trump's multiple indictments, his lies and attacks on democracy have only become more dangerously unhinged.

That's why UltraViolet Action is calling on YouTube to immediately reverse course and take down videos that make false claims about election fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
