#MeToo has given some survivors of sexual violence more mainstream acceptance and understanding. But Black women survivors in particular continue to be ignored, silenced, and disbelieved.

Probably the worst example? Black women who were raped and abused by R&B superstar R. Kelly as teenagers. But in a powerful turn of events, these women teamed up on "Surviving R. Kelly," which aired last week on Lifetime. The documentary series exposes Kelly's crimes--child pornography, statutory rape, marrying a minor--and the music industry for helping Kelly use his fame to victimize Black teen girls.

Now, Kelly is back in the headlines and a huge topic of discussion on social media, with people demanding accountability. Even former collaborators like rap superstar Chance the Rapper, have apologized for working with Kelly. The bad publicity might just be enough to force Kelly's record company, RCA Records, to finally drop him once and for all.

Big names are demanding accountability for Kelly, including Ava DuVernay, John Legend, and #MeToo founder Tarana Burke. If thousands of us join them, we can put RCA Records over the edge, and help secure the justice Black girls are often denied. Will you sign now?
