Access to health insurance saves lives. Extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits immediately to ensure millions of people don’t lose their health coverage.
Right now, millions of women are opening bills for health insurance premiums that have more than doubled.
Here's what happened: Tax credits that helped 24 million Americans afford health insurance expired on January 1st. The House passed a three-year extension with bipartisan support weeks ago. And now the ball is in the Senate’s court, but negotiations have stalled.
If the Senate doesn’t extend these life-saving tax credits as soon as possible, working women, low-income families and seniors will pay the price. We must take action now.
Every day without action is another day we pay inflated health insurance premiums we can't afford.
