Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s ongoing commitment to spreading medical disinformation and sowing distrust against scientific facts and institutions makes him unfit to set health policy in our country. More than 20 health groups and medical associations, along with dozens of former health officials, have called on him to resign. Kennedy must resign from his post as U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services immediately, and stop endangering Americans' health and safety, particularly women and pregnant people.

Scientific research is clear that Tylenol is perfectly safe to use during pregnancy. And yet, Kennedy plans to peddle bogus claims like linking the drug to autism in children.

Medical disinformation can have disastrous outcomes, and Kennedy's claim about Tylenol is no exception. Not only is he trying to eliminate one of the few pain medications considered safe during pregnancy, he is also increasing the stigma faced by people with an autism diagnosis.
