Where are the pregnant immigrant girls? Demand Congress investigate.

The petition to your members of Congress reads:

As your constituent, I’m asking you to visit and investigate the Urban Strategies San Benito Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) facility in Texas, where pregnant immigrant girls—some as young as 13, and many pregnant as a result of rape—have been detained without adequate medical care, transparency, or accountability. I urge you to:

1. Demand full access to the facility and to the children currently held there. 
2. Determine and verify the current location and status of every girl and infant who has passed through this facility.
3. Take immediate action to stop any abuse, neglect, or unlawful deportation without due process occurring there.
4. Do everything in your power to defund ICE and every part of Trump’s violent deportation machine.

Imagine being 13 years old, pregnant because you were raped, and locked inside an overcrowded immigration facility in a state that has banned abortion. Now imagine that, months later, members of Congress can't even find out where you are.

That's the reality for an unknown number of girls held at the Urban Strategies San Benito facility in Texas, a shelter run by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). The facility has housed pregnant immigrant girls as young as 13, and about half of those pregnancies are the result of rape.

Will you sign our petition demanding Congress investigate, get answers about every girl and infant who has passed through this facility, and stop any abuse they find?
