Tell the Justice Department to drop its criminal investigation of E. Jean Carroll
The petition to the U.S. Department of Justice reads:
Donald Trump was held liable in two court trials for sexually abusing and defaming the journalist E. Jean Carroll. Just as two different juries believed Carroll, we believe her, too.
We demand that the Justice Department immediately drop the unfounded, obviously politically motivated criminal investigation of E. Jean Carroll.
No matter what Trump and his weaponized Justice Department say, everyone knows that Trump is a sexual predator. He was literally caught on tape bragging about sexually assaulting women, eerily, similar to what Carroll said was done to her at the Bergdorf Goodman department store in Manhattan.
Who doesn't remember all those years he was ogling Miss Teen USA pageant contestants in plain sight? Trump's predatory behavior is so cliché that accusations of sexual assault against him and all the mentions he's received in the Epstein files--38,000 to be exact!--surprise no one.
So what is his DOJ’s bogus investigation of E. Jean Carroll really about? It's about the fact that Trump can't stand losing to Carroll in court. He's a sore loser blatantly using taxpayer dollars to settle personal scores and avoid accountability. Trump is doing everything he can to avoid paying Carroll the $83 million the jury awarded her. So now, he is on a rampage and is wasting government resources to go after her.
As women and survivors, all we gotta say is that Trump is messing with the wrong people. We'll never let any of this go until justice is served!
Tell the Justice Department to drop this obviously retaliatory criminal investigation against Carroll immediately!
