Tell Harvard University: Stop inviting Epstein enabler Alan Dershowitz

The petition to Harvard University President Dr. Alan M. Garber reads:

Considering Alan M. Dershowitz, Professor of Law Emeritus at Harvard Law School, and his significant role in enabling Jeffrey Epstein's serial sexual abuse and filing defamation claims against an Epstein survivor, we urge Harvard University to cut all ties with Dershowitz and stop inviting him to campus events. Not only is it uncomfortable for students and staff, Epstein's more than 1,000 survivors--many of whom were girls at the time of the abuse--deserve respect and justice. No institution, much less Harvard, should be lending any credibility to those who enabled harm against these women and children. 

Here we go again. Harvard University is still promoting and lending its credibility to men who enabled Jeffrey Epstein--even after Epstein was convicted in 2008 for seeking sex with a minor and was forced to register as a sex offender.

The guy all over the Epstein files that Harvard University keeps inviting to its campus? Harvard Law School Emeritus Professor Alan Dershowitz.

Being affiliated with Dershowitz should not be a source of pride for any institution, much less Harvard.

Dershowitz was Epstein's attorney, who got him a cushy plea deal after years of Epstein abusing young women and girls. Epstein survivor Virginia Guiffre said she was abused by Dershowitz when she was underage, while two other Epstein survivors said they saw Dershowitz at Epstein's home when other girls were present. Predictably, Giuffre dropped her case after legal heavyweight Dershowitz countersued her for defamation. 

Dershowitz is a bully and an Epstein enabler who even sued CNN for news coverage he didn't like (CNN won).

The public knows Dershowitz is a dirtbag, yet as of the end of last year, Harvard's Middle East Initiative and the Institute of Politics invited Dershowitz to speak as a "leading scholar(s), intellectual(s), and public servant(s)." Why is Harvard giving any credibility to Dershowitz?
