We have until April 1 to make sure the federal government takes a MAJOR step on equal pay--requiring big businesses to share pay data by gender and race.
The Obama administration proposed the rule so that companies with more than 100 employees have to report any pay gaps for women and people of color. The proposal is up for public comment until April 1, and big business is pushing back hard.
To make sure this rule goes into effect, we need to show that the public supports the measure, and big time. If enough of us speak out, we can drown out the opposition and make sure this rule goes through.
