Democrats in Congress caved to anti-immigrant Republicans in the Senate, and now the future of 800,000 young immigrants is at more risk than ever. We need to act fast.

After forcing a government shutdown to demand that Dreamers--young immigrants who came to the U.S. as children--be protected from deportation, some Senate Democrats balked and voted to reopen the government anyway.

Now, we have until February 8 to get Congress to pass a bill to protect Dreamers. If the deadline passes, every one of 800,000 Dreamers will lose legal status and be in danger of deportation.

Eighty-seven percent of Americans support a permanent legal status for Dreamers. We need Democrats to show some backbone and stand up for Dreamers instead of caving again, and we need Republicans to once more feel pressure to negotiate. Will you stand with Dreamers and demand Congress pass a clean DREAM Act immediately?
