ICE impersonators are sexually assaulting women

The petition to Congress reads:

Pass the No Secret Police Act to protect our communities. For months, masked Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and their deputies have terrorized communities across the United States, racially profiling and abducting people off the street in unmarked vehicles. Now, sexual predators are posing as ICE agents to kidnap and rape women. This abuse must stop now. I urge you to pass the No Secret Police Act to prohibit ICE agents from wearing masks and require that they identify themselves. Doing this would deter impersonators and allow people to identify and file complaints against ICE agents who violate their rights.

Sexual predators are posing as masked Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and raping women.

This has to stop now. ICE's reign of terror and violent kidnappings are already harming our communities and making the streets dangerous for all of us, especially Black and Brown people. Nowadays, most real ICE agents wear masks and refuse to identify themselves. Now, sexual predators are impersonating them and making the streets even more dangerous for women.

Tell Congress to pass the No Secret Police Act to force ICE agents to remove masks and identify themselves.

As we continue the long fight against a culture that has historically protected and even lionized sexual predators, we must also fight for immediate changes to make the streets safer for women NOW. Pushing for legislation that would force ICE agents to reveal who they are and potentially deter impersonators is an important step.
