Make California a safe haven for reproductive and gender affirming care

Make California a safe haven for reproductive and gender affirming health care. Do everything in your power to pass AB 54, AB 260, AB 82 and SB 497.

At a time when the MAGA regime is attacking reproductive and gender affirming healthcare, California must continue to be a beacon state where everyone has the freedom to make decisions about their bodies. Add your name now to demand state lawmakers protect our rights by passing these important bills:

• Access to Safe Abortion Care Act (A.B.54) and Protect Medication Abortion Act (A.B.260) would protect and expand access to medication abortion, specifically mifepristone, by shielding manufacturers, providers, and patients from punishment under state law, regardless of federal actions. These bills would also ensure the continued availability and insurance coverage of mifepristone in the state, protect medical providers, and clarify the state's authority over abortion care.
• TGI Health Care Data Privacy (A.B.82 ) and TGI Health Care Protections (S.B.497 ) would increase privacy protections for transgender, gender-nonconforming, and intersex (TGI) individuals seeking health care. A.B.82 safeguards personal health data reported to state databases, protects gender-affirming care providers, and expands electronic health record protections. S.B.497 extends existing protections for TGI minors to all ages and updates access requirements for personal health data in state drug-monitoring databases.
