Be HEARD on the Third is hosted by Peace is Loud and the Be Heard Coalition in collaboration with working women and survivors. The event will call for Chicago Aldermen to pass RAISE Chicago, and for Congress to pass its sister bill, Bringing an End to Harassment by Enhancing Accountability and Rejecting Discrimination (BE HEARD) Act.
The October 3rd event will offer a public film screening of Knock Down The House to uplift how women can challenge power players and win on local and federal levels of government. Following the screening, low-wage workers, survivors, and other impacted women will share their stories and the urgent need for change.
