Tell Attorney General Pam Bondi: Survivors aren't political football. Resign now.

Tell Attorney General Pam Bondi: Survivors aren't political football. Resign now.

The petition to the U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi reads:

In February, you claimed in an interview with Fox News that you had a client list of the child predator and trafficker Jeffrey Epstein on your desk that you intended to release. Information about the widespread sexual abuse and trafficking of children is not something to be thrown around lightly or used to score political points. Survivors deserve better. Make amends for the harm you caused in exploiting the case of Epstein's survivors and resign immediately.

For months and in Donald Trump's case, years, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has shamelessly garnered publicity and support from conservative social media influencers by promising to release files related to Jeffrey Epstein's criminal network and death.

In February, conservative influencers were invited to the White House and provided with binders marked "The Epstein Files: Phase 1" and "Declassified." But to the chagrin of these influencers, the binders contained information already available to the public.

Still, that didn't stop Bondi from supposedly launching an investigation into Epstein's death, for which she recently announced she came up empty-handed. All of this, after claiming in a Fox News interview in February to have an Epstein client list on her desk that she intended to release.

Information about the widespread sexual abuse and trafficking of children is not something to be thrown around lightly or used to score political points--harms that Bondi needs to make amends for.
