"I understand that they feel like that is their body...what I call them is, is you're a 'host'."

That's what Oklahoma's Republican Rep. Justin Humphrey called women seeking abortion. A host.

It's outrageous. But what's even worse is that he is trying to push the Oklahoma legislature to pass a bill that will require a woman seeing an abortion to get written consent from her male sexual partner.

Very soon, Oklahoma's House Public Health Committee will meet to determine the outcome of this bill. Committee members know it's unconstitutional and are already anxious about the litigation costs. The bill's chances of survival are narrowing, but the committee will follow Oklahoma's anti-woman voices unless they hear tens of thousands of us speaking out in opposition.
