Tell L.A. 2028 Olympic Organizers: Drop Chairman Casey Wasserman

The petition to the executive committee of the Los Angeles Olympics reads:

We urge you to remove Casey Wasserman as Chair immediately. A person who enabled Jeffrey Epstein's child abuse network shouldn't lead the 2028 Olympics Committee. We don't want someone who enabled one of the most notorious pedophiles of our time representing the U.S. on a world stage.

A search of Casey Wasserman's name in the Epstein files released so far--the U.S. Justice Department has released only 50% of the files--yields a whopping 87 results. The emails show Wasserman regularly reaching out to Ghislaine Maxwell--who has since been convicted as a co-conspirator in the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's crimes --for intimacy, such as Wasserman's desire to see Maxwell in a "tight leather outfit." In another email, after Wasserman told Maxwell he missed her, he asked, "...can we book that massage now?"

This is chilling, considering that Maxwell recruited many of Epstein's victims under the pretense that they were hired to give a very wealthy and powerful man a massage. Instead, a lucrative gig turned into a harrowing life experience with Epstein sexually assaulting them.

Wasserman also helped Maxwell and Epstein find the best places in Los Angeles to stay while in town.

Maxwell and Wasserman's correspondence suggests a real friendship, and not just a "one-off" at an event or meeting.

Survivors and advocates are not the only ones uncomfortable with having a pedophile-enabler represent us on the world stage for the 2028 Olympics. Artists and sports talent have been leaving the Wasserman Agency in droves since Wasserman was named in the Epstein files.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, who doesn't have the authority to fire him, has said that Wasserman should resign. The statements made by Mayor Bass and artists who've abandoned Wasserman's firm are valid, moral, and must be acted upon.
