Tell T-Mobile, GM, CVS, and Elevance Health to stop funding MAGA RAGA attacks on our democracy
The petition to corporations that fund the Republican Attorneys General Association reads:
No one should be held at gunpoint and have their home ransacked as part of a sham investigation. Yet several elderly election volunteers and a Democratic candidate for the state House woke up to troopers in tactical gear entering their homes, sent by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton--one of the most notorious members of the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA).
Why is this important?
Paxton has a long track record of suppressing voters of color and subverting our democracy. Since Paxton took office in 2015, at least 72% of his voter fraud prosecutions have been against Black and Latino people.
In addition to RAGA AG's organized attack on a free and fair election, they’ve also systematically decimated access to reproductive health care, purged voter files without adequately notifying voters, banned history books, and gutted environmental protections in many states across the country.
As right-wing extremists use our courts to undermine our rights, freedom, and democracy, MAGA RAGA AGs like Paxton are leading the charge. If these consumer brands are serious about their commitments to inclusion, equity, and social justice, they must immediately stop funding RAGA.
