It has been almost four months since three plainclothes police officers shot and killed Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old emergency medical technician, in her own home. Yet, only one of her murderers has been fired from his job, and none of the three officers at the scene of the crime have been charged.

As human rights advocates, we are deeply alarmed by the lack of inaction on the part of Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer and the Louisville Metro Police Department. Use the comments box to write a short letter to Editor Richard A. Green demanding that Mayor Greg Fischer and Attorney General Daniel Cameron fire, arrest, and convict all the officers who murdered Breonna Taylor, and to defund the Louisville Metro Police Department.
