Letter to the editor: Hands off health care!

On February 12th, Senate Republicans launched their Affordable Care Act repeal. With a vote of 51-48, Step 1 to take away health care from over 25 million is in the history books. Then, on Friday the 13th, the House voted for the same piece of legislation, 227-198.

But there is still hope. The Republicans still have no replacement plan, and there are several steps left--so it ain't over until it's over, and the vote margins was tight.

That's why we need your voice. The opinion sections in local newspapers are widely read, and elected officials especially pay attention to what's printed there. Letters to the editor are such a good way to get your voice heard--plus, they're quick and easy to write with our online tool. There's still time to save the Affordable Care Act, and the votes of your Senators matter. Let's make sure when they open the local news, it will be FILLED with demands to protect the Affordable Care Act and stories of why it matters to YOU.
