To Whom It May Concern,

I am one of many fans calling on 10 major musical artists represented by The Wasserman Group to drop Casey Wasserman’s agency before he sells the company and receives a massive buyout. It is my understanding that at least one of those artists is your client. The list of these 10 artists is as follows:

3. Ed Sheeran
4. Kendrick Lamar
5. Kid Cudi
6. LISA (of BLACKPINK)
7. Macklemore
8. Pharrell
9. Shawn Mendes
10. SZA

These ten artists have shown their support for ending sexual abuse in the past. We urge them to join our community of women, survivors and allies fighting for accountability for all Epstein enablers by creating real consequences for Casey Wasserman. If they leave the Wasserman Group before he sells it, they could make a huge dent in his profits from the sale.

Casey Wasserman appeared in the released Epstein files 87 times for associating and flirting with notorious pedophile Ghislaine Maxwell, and was also accused of having affairs with junior employees at his agency.

Wasserman’s announcement to sell his media group is not a win for survivors by any stretch. Wasserman does not deserve the estimated $800 million payout he is almost certainly to gain from selling The Wasserman Group. As it stands, Wasserman simply selling the company while taking zero accountability for lending his power and influence to Epstein, which enabled his abuse for years, is a slap in the face to survivors everywhere. That’s why we are fighting tooth and nail to tear up Wasserman’s golden parachute.

Each artist on this list is a public figure that we admire, and dropping Wasserman’s media group now is both the moral thing to do AND could substantially reduce the paycheck that Wasserman receives. We also believe this could be a favorable move business-wise, as the vast majority of the public--which overwhelmingly supports accountability regarding the Epstein files--would see this move as courageous and morally clear.

Please encourage your client to be a true leader in the music industry by dropping Wasserman’s agency before it is sold. In doing so, they will be standing with survivors on the right side of history.

But the momentum has slowed down since Wasserman announced he would sell the company after his ties to Epstein caused a huge public backlash. Selling the Wasserman Group would only enrich him, an already wealthy man. We want real accountability.

That’s why we need 10 values-aligned musical heavy hitters to drop him. Getting these artists off Wasserman’s label before he sells would make a huge dent in Wasserman’s profits from the sale. We also want to show these artists that we believe in them to do the right thing and will have their backs if and when they leave.
