As a concerned citizen and voter, I urge you to ensure the Department of Justice (DOJ) fully complies with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, releases ALL the case files with minimal redactions, and ensures justice.

As you are aware, Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell abused at least 1,000 women--some girls at the time of their abuse--over many years. These women deserve closure and justice. As for the public, we deserve to know who participated in, enabled, and failed to report this abuse, and to hold these people accountable. We also should know whether public safety is still at risk if these powerful abusers remain in our midst and allowed to abuse with impunity.

Child abuse is not a partisan issue. Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act unanimously in the Senate, and all but one representative voted to release the files in the House. Please make sure the Epstein files are released in their entirety--with only minimal required redactions. Further, please ensure this transparency brings about accountability for the individuals who committed sexual violence, pedophilia, and human trafficking, as well as the institutions that enabled it. We're just days away from the Department of Justice's (DOJ's) deadline to release all the files on the crimes and prosecution of the late child-sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Already, the Trump administration is posturing to use this moment for political gain. Donald Trump has ordered U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate Epstein's ties to prominent Democrats, priming the pump for cherry-picked redactions that could potentially protect Trump's allies and weaken his political opponents.

The thing is, publicly releasing the Epstein files isn't about Trump or any politician. It's about delivering justice to Epstein's 1,000+ survivors who have waited years for this day to come. The House Oversight Committee must do everything in its power to ensure that all the files are released by Friday, with minimal required redactions.
