Our message to President Obama:
Women decided this election, make up 51% of the population, and deserve to fill the most important positions in the country. We need to be represented in the positions that make critical policy decisions and that many times affect us disproportionately. Nominate women to fill the remaining cabinet postitions.

First Hillary Clinton--one of the greatest advocates for women and girls--stepped down as Secretary of State. Then Lisa Jackson, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, announced she was leaving her post. And now, a tough, progressive Latina--the first Latina to ever serve in the cabinet--Hilda Solis, head of the Department of Labor, is also stepping down.
It's hard to see so many strong women leaders leave top positions in the administration. But what's even more upsetting is that President Obama has so far been filling empty positions at the State Department, Department of Defense, Treasury Department and CIA with only men.
The good news is that there are still cabinet positions left to fill, including White House Chief of Staff, head of the EPA, Labor Department, and more. Can you sign the petition asking President Obama to nominate women to fill the remaining cabinet positions?
