Big news! The Obama administration approved a major new rule requiring insurance companies to cover contraception today. As of August, your insurance covers birth control. This a major deal--currently nearly 1 in 3 women have a hard time affording birth control.  

The administration faced an intense lobbying campaign from the religious right--most notably the US Conference of Catholic Bishops. Today, the Obama administration did the right thing and put women's health ahead of politics. And we should thank them for it.
