Tell T-Mobile, CVS, GM, Elevance Health to stop funding MAGA RAGA attacks on abortion!
The petition to corporations that fund the Republican Attorneys General Association reads:
No one should be denied life-saving care or be criminalized because of a pregnancy. Stop funding the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) and its coordinated attacks on reproductive and civil rights.
Why is this important?
RAGA is the organization behind Trump's MAGA state attorneys general, who are using the courts to strip away our rights and freedoms. Perhaps the most notorious RAGA member is Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, known for his crusade to criminalize health care. Last year, when a Texas court ruled that a 31-year-old woman with a nonviable pregnancy could have an abortion despite the state’s restrictions, RAGA AG Ken Paxton threatened to prosecute “hospitals, doctors, or anyone else” who would assist in providing the procedure.
Then there is RAGA Indiana AG Todd Rokita, who threatened criminal charges against the doctor who performed an abortion on a 10-year-old rape victim, as well as RAGA Mississippi AG Lynn Fitch, who played a central role in overturning Roe v. Wade, arguing that ending most legalized abortions will “empower” more women to pursue careers while also raising children.
RAGA has pledged that future donations will be used to further attack abortion rights state by state. But if corporations didn't fund RAGA, it wouldn't have the money to wage these battles.
