URGENT: Tomorrow, tens of thousands of people in Florida will lose their right to vote in November--potentially handing Donald Trump the state, and the election.

Tomorrow is the voter registration deadline in Florida, but with Hurricane Matthew leaving coastal communities uninhabitable and over one million Floridians without power, many who planned to register cannot do so. Yet Governor Rick Scott--cofounder of a pro-Trump PAC--has refused to act.

Huge numbers of people register to vote in the final weeks before an election. If Gov. Scott does nothing, far too many Floridians will find themselves locked out of our democracy. Survivors of disaster deserve to choose which candidates will rebuild. If we all stand up for Floridians and raise a national outcry, we can force Gov. Scott to make an emergency extension.
