Chicago on the brink of a major change

Tell the Chicago City Council:

"Nobody should go to work sick or have to choose between a paycheck and their child. Pass Paid Sick Days for all."

Chicago is at a tipping point that would create a major change for working families. The Chicago City Council has introduced an ordinance that would provide every employee in the city with paid sick days that can also be used to care for family members. A majority of City Council members have voiced support (which is huge!), but just 9 more need to pledge they'll vote in favor to guarantee this awesome bill passes.

In Chicago, 42% of all private sector workers and 80% of low-wage workers don't have a single paid sick day for illness or to take care of a family member. That means a lot of employees have no choice but to go to work sick--that's why guaranteeing paid sick days is healthier for ALL of us.
