These are 10 realms UltraViolet members and staff have identified as key to a women's agenda in 2018. Please tell us know important they are to you--and let us know what we missed!

1. End to Gender-based Violence: A world where sexual assault, sexual harassment, and domestic violence are rare--and when they happen, survivors are supported and perpetrators held accountable.

2. Immigrant Justice: An immigration system that includes a path to citizenship for immigrants and asylum-seekers, that keeps families together, and keeps people out of cages.

3. Racial Justice: Racial equity in every basic aspect of life, including housing, employment, education, health care, the justice system, and representation in appointed and elected bodies.

4. LGBTQ Equity: A society that celebrates and honors a vast diversity of genders and sexualities, and where all people live free from bullying, violence, and discrimination in workplaces, schools, communities, and in accessing healthcare.

5. Safe Communities: Let’s make safe communities, where no one has to live in fear of gun violence, a reality.

6. Economic Security for All: Affordable housing, a living wage, paid time off to care for a newborn, a family member, or oneself, a system of equal pay for equal work.

7. Disability Justice: We must create systems of healthcare, education, housing, and employment that care for ALL people and fully address the needs of those with disabilities.

8. Healthy Environments: We must implement solutions to protect the environment and our families.

9. Reproductive Freedom: All people deserve access to non-judgmental, complete reproductive healthcare--including abortion access--regardless of their income or zip code.

10. Health Care for All: We can create a system where everyone has access to affordable, quality, and culturally competent health care, including mental health services.

This election season, women are running for office, voting, and volunteering in record numbers. We're poised to win. And the day after the election, we'll be ready to fight together for the issues that are most important to women and our allies.

To kick it off, UltraViolet is putting together a Women's Agenda for 2018 and beyond so that once we bring in a wave of pro-woman champions this November we can tell Congress exactly what we expect from them.

Yes, we are demanding abortion access, equal pay, and justice for survivors of sexual assault, but we need more than that. We need health care for all. We need a living minimum wage. We need a clean, safe environment for our families and communities. We demand accountability for police violence. And more.
