What Is Sexual Harassment?

At work. On the street. At a bar. At home. No matter where it happens -- sexual harassment is a form of sexual violence. And the person who experiences sexual harassment determines whether harassment occurred. In order to fight sexual harassment, we need to know what it is. Share because too many people still don't know.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT
Sexual harassment is unwanted sexual conduct and it can happen anywhere at anytime. It can include...

1) Unwanted flirting
Pressing someone after being told to "stop".
Saying "you know you want it".

2) Crude Gestures or Jokes
"Dick" jokes or "humping" gestures
Other unwanted crude comments

3) Touching without consent
Pinching their butt
Giving them a shoulder rub (all without permission)

4) Sexual favors
Asking for sexual favors from a coworker
Being polite doesn't mean she's into you.

5) Cat calling
Telling someone they have "nice legs" or to "smile".
Whistling, shouting, and leering
