BREAKING: North Carolina just fast-tracked and passed one of the worst anti-LGBT laws in the country, stripping every local law that protects the LGBTQ community from discrimination and falsely claiming it will protect women.
The law created immediate backlash for North Carolina's governor, with companies threatening to pull business. Even the National Basketball Association (NBA) released a statement yesterday saying it may move its 2017 All-Star Game from Charlotte, NC.
This would be huge: The NBA canceling a major event in the state sends a strong message to politicians considering similar measures and builds pressure for North Carolina to repeal the law. The NBA is on the verge of doing the right thing, and if we speak up now it'll be enough to push them to move. Can you sign and share the petition?
