What’s happening at the border is a humanitarian crisis. Trump's “zero tolerance” immigration policy has separated more than 4,000 children from their parents--including infants as young as four months old. Thousands of children have yet to be reunited with their families, despite a federal judge ordering Trump to do so.

It's time for Congress to intervene by doing two things:

1. Actively oppose the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” policy and all its attempts to separate or jail immigrant children and adults.

2. Defund Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP)--Trump’s separation and deportation force.
