Trump's war on immigrants just got even more inhumane--last week, his administration revealed it had already quietly reversed an Obama-era policy and started locking up pregnant women at immigration detention facilities.

506 pregnant immigrants are now detained, including women like Jacinta Morales, who in 2017 was allowed to bleed in the back of a patrol car even though detention staff knew her health had been worsening. She miscarried.

Now, members of Congress, including Senators Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren, and immigrant rights advocates are in an uproar--they're demanding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the President reinstate the policy to allow pregnant immigrants to remain with their families while they wait for their immigration cases.
