Outrageous--two Democratic Senators are asking President Obama to nominate a conservative anti-choice, anti-woman judge for the federal bench. Did they think we wouldn't notice?!

Ward Armstrong voted to end the Affordable Care Act and to close Virginia abortion clinics. He's supported allowing handguns in bars, a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage, and even a bill to prevent same-sex couples from getting a loan. But if that's not enough, there's also his gross sexism, such as joking that a female lawmaker was "coming over to my place later" and comparing her to Monica Lewinsky.

We've seen how judges can destroy the lives of women with just the wave of a pen. That's why just this month UltraViolet members and allies derailed the judicial nomination of anti-choice, anti-gay Michael Boggs.
