How we'll fire The Atlantic's extremist writer

Pressure is growing on The Atlantic to fire the racist, sexist new hire, Kevin Williamson. Williamson is an extremist who has no place in the pages of a highly-regarded magazine like The Atlantic. He has argued that women who have abortions should be hanged and compared a nine-year-old Black child to a primate. He's also dismissed campus sexual assault as "a fiction," described assault weapon as "not all that dangerous," and characterized Planned Parenthood as a "grisly, bloodthirsty enterprise."

ENOUGH. If we generate an outpouring of calls to fire Williamson, we could push The Atlantic's Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey Goldberg to understand just how extreme Williamson is and just how unacceptable this hiring decision was. The best pressure comes from readers, and the magazine publishes readers' letters to the editor. If we inundate Goldberg with letters, he will understand the very real threat the magazine faces--losing readership--if he doesn't fire Williamson.
