Over the last several months, inspiring protests have taken place all over the country.

Lots of individuals and members of social justice organizations have been organizing and doing amazing activism dressed as handmaids, an inspiration from "The Handmaid’s Tale."

The sexism and anti-women rhetoric promoted by the Trump presidency and conservatives have begun to mirror this dystopian tale. Women everywhere are going to keep resisting and persisting, and letting politicians everywhere know this is not acceptable.

Organizing a handmaid protest is a powerful way to fight back. We are most powerful when we rise up together and boldly demonstrate that a society where women are treated as anything but equals will not be tolerated.
