Today, the Senate begins confirmation of Rep. Tom Price as the head of Health and Human Services. If he's confirmed, Rep. Price will make it his mission to destroy many of the Obamacare provisions and health care programs that millions of Americans have come to rely on--including abortion, birth control, Planned Parenthood, Medicaid, and Medicare. To make matters worse, just the other day news broke that Rep. Price violated ethics standards by proposing legislation protecting a medical device company from federal legislation just days after purchasing stocks in that same company.

Rep. Price cannot be trusted at the helm of Health and Human Services. We have a small window to let Senators know of our outrage about Rep. Price, and to demand that they protect us as their constituents. Public pressure against Trump's cabinet picks has already proven to slow and delay other nominations, and we need to protest even more loudly now.
